A Webster County man is accused of stabbing another person.
Henderson Police Department said officers responded to the 1000 block of First Street on Tuesday in reference to an assault.
The alleged victim told police that a white man walked up to his vehicle and asked for a ride. The driver said that he could not give him a ride.
The man then pulled a knife out of his pocket and lunged at the victim, causing an injury to the victims’ neck.
The man was later identified as Aayden Piper, 19, of Clay.
Piper was arrested on Wednesday and charged with second-degree assault. He was lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
