————————–
Henderson County Water District said it is undertaking necessary repairs for a water main break on Rucker No. 1 Road off of U.S. 60-E in Henderson County.
As part of this work, water service will be interrupted for approximately 20 customers from the intersection of Rucker No. 1 and U.S. 60-E to just south of Doe Lane. As a precaution, a boil water advisory is issued for the following area on Rucker 1: From 7254 Rucker No. 1 to 8062 Rucker No. 1 at the intersection with U.S. 60.
Work is ongoing and when water service is restored, these areas will be under a boil water advisory until further notice. Please boil all water used for human consumption to a rolling boil for 3-5 minutes.
The estimated time that the boil water advisory will be in effect is subject to satisfactory bacteriological testing. A second notice will be issued when the advisory is lifted.
