Update: Boil Water Advisory lifted for Ridgewood Road residents in Spottsville


UPDATE: As of Monday, the boil water advisory for Ridgewood Road residents in Spottsville has been lifted.
Henderson County Water District has issued a boil water advisory for customers in the Spottsville area as of Saturday afternoon.
The district said it is repairing a water main break on Kentucky 2243/Old U.S. 60 and Ridgewood Road off U.S. 60-E in Spottsville in Henderson County.
As part of this work, water service will be interrupted. Crews are working to restore water as soon as possible.
As a precaution, a boil water advisory is issued for the area from 9621 Ridgewood Road to 9424 Ridgewood Road. Also including all addresses from the intersection of Ridgewood Road and Old U.S. 60 / Kentucky 2243 to the intersection with current U.S.  60 (8021 Old U.S. 60 to 8201 Old U.S. 60).
Work is ongoing and when water service is restored, these areas will be under a boil water advisory until further notice. Please boil all water used for human consumption to a rolling boil for 3-5 minutes.
The estimated time that the boil water advisory will be in effect is subject to satisfactory bacteriological testing. A second notice will be issued when the boil water advisory is lifted.
