Henderson man accused of pointing loaded firearm during family disturbance


A Henderson teen is accused of pointing a loaded firearm during a family disturbance on Saturday.

Henderson Police Department responded at approximately 9:53 a.m. Saturday to the 400 block of Marywood Drive in reference to a family disturbance.

Witnesses stated that Drake Cook, 18, pointed a loaded firearm at them after getting into a verbal altercation with a female. The firearm was located along with marijuana.

Cook was charged with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief and possession of marijuana.

Cook was lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $10,000 bond.
