Kentucky 144 Ramp onto U.S. 60 EB to be Closed This Weekend During Daytime Hours

OWENSBORO, Ky. (June 13, 2024) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is looking to complete work at the eastern end of the Kentucky 144 bridge over U.S. 60 in Owensboro this weekend, necessitating the on-ramp to eastbound U.S. 60 to be closed.

Engineers are looking to stabilize pavement in the area between the bridge and ramp to assure the continued safety of the roadway. Due to limited spacing, the ramp will be closed during daytime hours on Saturday and Sunday to make sure crews have enough room to safely and quickly complete the project.

If work is not completed over the weekend, the closure will be extended to Monday.
