Norma Denton Fryer (1934-2024) passed away after a short illness at her home in Sarasota, Florida, on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024.
Norma graduated from Barret Manual Training High School in 1952 and attended Western Kentucky University. Norma was preceded in death by her daughters, Elizabeth Wilson and Susan Johnson, and her parents, R.J. and Cymbeline Denton. She is survived by her son, John Calvin (Butch) Fryer, grandson, Shawn Johnson, granddaughters, Jennifer Fryer and Sarah Hagler, and sisters, Suzanne (Tootie) Cravens and Charla Smithhart. Grandson, Mark Johnson, passed away on July 2nd, 2024.
A graveside service for Norma officiated by Reverend John Charles is planned for this Saturday, July 13th, at 10:00am at Fernwood Cemetery.
