OBITUARIES FOR MONDAY, AUGUST 5TH, 2024

Nancy C. Todd

 

Nancy C. Todd, age 71, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 7:14 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

 

Nancy was a physical therapist for more than 20 years at Methodist Hospital. She loved writing and was a published author. She was an avid genealogy enthusiast and tracing her family’s lineage was a fulfilling project. Nancy’s family was her pride and joy. She and her love of 47 years, Terry, share two sons and four grandchildren; through whom their legacy of love and faith will grow. Nancy thoughtfully and lovingly crocheted blankets for many expectant mothers. Nancy loved the Lord, and her life was a testimony of her faith. She was a longtime member of Hyland Baptist Church. She went on mission trips, taught Sunday school, and served on the kitchen committee; all of which she loved.

 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents David and Barbara Hughes and her sister Barbie Hughes.

 

Nancy is survived by her husband of 47 years Terry Todd of Henderson, KY; sons Jeremy Todd and wife Leslie of Charles Town, WV and Josh Todd and his wife Lindsey of Covington, KY; brothers David Hughes and Richard Hughes and his wife Sue; grandchildren: Chloe Todd, Riley Todd, Bryant Todd, and Owen Todd; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to Nancy’s Life Celebration from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at Hyland Baptist Church in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church with Pastor Jeremy Todd and Pastor Kenny Kidd officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
