The NACCP Henderson Chapter will be holding a Voter Registration Day event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
There will be 12 locations with volunteers to assist in this endeavor, said NAACP President Deborah Hoda. “Everyone should exercise their right and privilege to make choice which benefit a better life,” she said.
To register to vote, people must have a valid ID, Social Security Number and fill out a voter’s card.
The deadline to register to vote for the November election is Oct. 7th by mail or online.
The following locations will be available for people to register to vote from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24.
