NAACP Voter Registration Event set for Saturday at a dozen Henderson locations

The NACCP Henderson Chapter will be holding a Voter Registration Day event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

There will be 12 locations with volunteers to assist in this endeavor, said NAACP President Deborah Hoda. “Everyone should exercise their right and privilege to make choice which benefit a better life,” she said.

To register to vote, people must have a valid ID, Social Security Number and fill out a voter’s card.

The deadline to register to vote for the November election is Oct. 7^th by mail or online.

The following locations will be available for people to register to vote from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24.
