Henderson County authorities are investigating after two bodies were found at Ellis Park early Tuesday morning.
Henderson County deputies responded to Ellis Park at about 12:35 a.m. Tuesday in reference to an unconscious person in the back area, according to a news release. Deaconess Ambulance Service, Baskett Fire Department and the Spottsville Fire Department were also dispatched to Ellis Park.
Upon arriving, deputies found a man deceased in his apartment on Ellis Park’s backside.
Ambulance Service personnel discovered that the man had been with another person earlier that night, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Emergency personnel went to check on that person and found him deceased in his apartment.
After a preliminary investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said they do not suspect foul play. The Sherriff’s Office said there is also no danger to the general public.
Both deceased individuals were transported to Louisville for autopsies.
The sheriff’s department said this is an ongoing investigation.
