The Henderson County Water District will be conducting essential repairs on water mains near B.F. Overfield Road near Corydon in Henderson County.
The scheduled work is set to begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12. The work was originally scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
As part of this process, water service for the following addresses will be temporarily interrupted:
- 8605 – 9173 B.F. Overfield Road
- 8815 – 9202 John Tapp Road
- 7128 – 7204 Powell Tapp Road
- 8849 – 9056 Whitelick Road
- 7713 – 7384 Tapp Duncan Road
The outage is expected to last approximately eight hours. However, work may extend beyond this timeframe as necessary. The Henderson County Water District said it will make every effort to minimize disruption to customers.
Once water service is restored, a boil water advisory will be in effect for all affected addresses until further notice. Customers are advised to boil water for at least one minute before consuming or using it for cooking or other purposes.
