The Colonels came away with a 19 point victory against the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado, 75-56, at Colonel Gym last night.
The leading scorers for the Blue Tornado was Ahmad Wilkins with 20 points and 6 rebounds while Miles Woodfork had 19 points. Owen Mikel had 9 points while Antwon McClure had 3 points. Aiden Forthman had 3 points and 3 rebounds while Joshua Campbell had 2 points and 5 rebounds on the night.
The leading scorers for the Colonels tonight was Lacon McKinney with a career high 26 points along with 11 rebounds and 3 steals while Trajdon Davis scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Dwaine Moss had 12 points while Cooper Davenport had 10 points and 4 assists while Elijah Suggs had 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Xavion Johnson had 3 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds while Cole Branson had 2 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists on the night.
The Blue Tornado shot 8 for 15 (53%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 3 for 13 (23%). The Blue Tornado shot 4 for 8 (50%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 10 for 17 (59%). The Blue Tornado had a total of 24 rebounds while the Colonels had 35 total rebounds. The Colonels tallied 21 assists, 8 blocks, and 11 steals. The Blue Tornado committed 14 turnovers to the Colonels committing 11 turnovers on the night.
The Colonels improve to (2-2) on the season while the Blue Tornado fall to (0-1).
