The Henderson County Lady Colonels suffered their second loss of the season against the Castle Lady Knights, 52-42, at home last night.
The leading scorers for the Lady Knights was Jayden Scott with 18 points and 3 rebounds while Jordyn Poelhuis had 10 points and 5 rebounds. Paiton Mithcell had 9 points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, and 4 assists while Izabell Grantz had 8 points and 5 rebounds. Jordan Scott scored 5 points while Kiki Jones had 2 points and 3 rebounds on the night.
The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels was A’Tylia Green with 17 points while Allyson Rideout had 14 points and 4 rebounds. Addy Gish had 11 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds while Brooklyn Gibson had 11 points. Allyson Rideout tallied 6 points and 3 rebounds while Rashia Cansler had 3 points. Anna Kemp added 3 points and 7 rebounds while Addy Gish had 2 points on the night.
The Lady Knights shot 12 for 16 (75%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels who were 6 for 7 (86%). The Lady Knights shot 4 for 14 (29%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Colonels who were 4 for 17 (24%). The Lady Knights had a total of 28 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 23 total rebounds in the game. The Lady Colonels recorded 11 assists, 8 steals, and 1 block. The Lady Knights committed 13 turnovers to the Lady Colonels who committed 15 turnovers on the night.
The Lady Colonels fall to (5-2) on the season while the Lady Knights fall to (8-4). The Lady Colonels next game is tomorrow night, December 21st, on the road against the Elizabethtown Lady Panthers with the tipoff at 5:00 P.M.
