Lady Colonels Scrape By Daviess County

The Henderson County Lady Colonels came away with a, 58-49, win against the Daviess County Lady Panthers at home on Tuesday night.

The leading scorers for the Lady Panthers was Kennedy Lane with 21 points and 4 rebounds while Lily Hoagland had 13 points and 5 rebounds. Zoey Beehn had 6 points and 9 rebounds while Molly Hancock had 5 points and 4 rebounds. To round out the scoring, Briley Henry scored 4 points on the night.

The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels was A’Tylia Green with 20 points, 5 steals, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds while Allyson Rideout had 11 points and 5 rebounds. Addy Gish had 10 points, 8 steals, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists while Brooklyn Gibson had 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. JaNyla Locher had 5 points while Anna Kemp tallied 3 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. To round out the scoring, Rashia Cansler added 2 points on the night.

The Lady Panthers shot 6 for 9 (67%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels who were 6 for 15 (40%). The Lady Panthers shot 5 for 15 (33%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Colonels who were 4 for 11 (36%). The Lady Panthers had a total of 25 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 25 total rebounds in the game. The Lady Colonels recorded 11 assists, 20 steals, and 1 block. The Lady Panthers committed 24 turnovers to the Lady Colonels who committed 14 turnovers on the night.

The Lady Colonels improved to (11-3) on the season while the Lady Panthers fell to (6-8).
