The Colonels suffered a loss against the Evansville Memorial Tigers, 58-46, on the road in Evansville on Saturday night.
The leading scorers for the Tigers was Luke Ellspermann with 16 points while Asher Evans had 15 points and 5 rebounds. Simon Schulz had 14 points and 5 rebounds while Maxx Anslinger had 9 points and 5 rebounds. To round out the scoring, Dylan Kendrick tallied 4 points on the night.
The leading scorers for the Colonels was Elijah Suggs Lacon McKinney with 16 points and 6 rebounds while Xavion Johnson scored 10 points and recorded 5 assists. Lacon McKinney had 9 points and 5 rebounds while Cooper Davenport had 8 points. To round out the scoring, Dwaine Moss added 3 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals on the night.
The Tigers shot 9 for 16 (56%) from the 3 point line to the Colonels 1 for 5 (20%). The Tigers shot 13 for 14 (93%) from the free throw line to the Colonels 15 for 17 (88%). The Tigers had a total of 20 rebounds while the Colonels had 17 total rebounds. The Colonels tallied 9 assists, 9 steals, and 1 block. The Tigers committed 14 turnovers to the Colonels committing 11 turnovers on the night.
The Colonels fall to (11-4) on the season while the Tigers improve to (9-1).
