The Henderson County Lady Colonels came away with a, 64-18, win against the Webster County Lady Trojans on the road last night.
The leading scorers for the Lady Trojans was Kaylyn Braden with 6 points while Anna Dunn had 4 points. Karsyn Cates tallied 2 points while Hannah Yates added 2 points and 4 rebounds. Calleigh Harper contributed 2 points and 3 rebounds while Addi Wright had 2 points on the night.
The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels was Anna Kemp with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals while Allyson Rideout had 10 points, 4 steals, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds. Rashia Cansler had 8 points while Brooklyn Gibson had 7 points and 4 steals. Addy Gish had 7 points and 3 assists while Jersey Gardner tallied 6 points. JaNyla Locher added 5 points while Maggee Melvin added 2 points on the night.
The Lady Trojans shot 8 for 8 (100%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels who were 7 for 9 (78%). The Lady Trojans shot 0 for 4 (0%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Colonels who were 7 for 22 (32%). The Lady Trojans had a total of 22 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 22 total rebounds in the game. The Lady Colonels recorded 19 assists, 23 steals, and 3 blocks. The Lady Trojans committed 34 turnovers to the Lady Colonels who committed 11 turnovers on the night.
The Lady Colonels improve to (19-4) on the season while the Lady Trojans fall to (8-14).
