The Henderson County Lady Colonels came away with a, 70-60, win against the Crittenden County Lady Rockets on the road on Thursday night.
The leading scorers for the Lady Rockets was Anna Boone with 19 points and 4 rebounds while Jordyn Hodge had 18 points and 4 rebounds. Andrea Federico tallied 12 points and 5 rebounds while Georgia Holeman added 5 points and 3 rebounds. Bristyn Rushing had 5 points while Morgan Stewart contributed 1 point on the night.
The leading scorers for the Lady Colonels was Allyson Rideout with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists while A’Tylia Green had 19 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds. Brooklyn Gibson had 9 points and 5 rebounds while Rashia Cansler had 9 points and 3 rebounds. JaNyla Locher had 7 points while Anna Kemp tallied 4 points and 4 rebounds. To round out the scoring, Azayah Hall had 2 points on the night.
The Lady Rockets shot 16 for 22 (73%) from the free throw line to the Lady Colonels who were 7 for 7 (100%). The Lady Rockets shot 4 for 8 (50%) from behind the three point line to the Lady Colonels who were 5 for 17 (29%). The Lady Rockets had a total of 26 rebounds while the Lady Colonels had 33 total rebounds in the game. The Lady Colonels recorded 17 assists, 9 steals, and 5 blocks. The Lady Rockets committed 15 turnovers to the Lady Colonels who committed 11 turnovers on the night.
The Lady Colonels improve to (22-4) on the season while the Lady Rockets fall to (19-7).
