Henderson County Water District has announced a pair of scheduled water outages for the Corydon area next week.
Customers on Kings Mill Road near Corydon will have a scheduled water service outage beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 19th.
The affected customers are from 5832 Corydon Greenlick Road, including all of Kings Mill Rd. to 13057 U.S. 60-W.
This outage is to perform necessary repairs to the main serving this area.
Henderson County Water District also has a scheduled water service outage to begin at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 20th for customers near Tapp Duncan Road in Corydon.
The affected customers are from 8849 Whitelick Road to 9056 Whitelick Road, also affecting 7713 – 7384 Tapp Duncan Road, and lastly 8815-9202 John Tapp Road.
Both scheduled outages are to perform necessary repairs to the mains serving these areas.
Although there is the possibility of the outage taking longer, Henderson County Water District said it will make every effort to limit the amount of time that customers will be without water service to complete this work. They estimate that customers in this area will be without water for eight hours.
When water service is restored. These customers will be under a Boil Water Advisory until further notice.
