Henderson County Water District plans water service interruption for Zion area customers on Monday

Henderson County Water District has scheduled a water service interruption for Zion area customers on Monday.

Water service will be interrupted beginning at 8 a.m. Monday for necessary repairs. The interruption will last approximately eight hours.

Although it is possible that the outage will take longer, every effort will be made to limit the amount of time customers will be without water.

The customers affected by this scheduled outage are from: 7783 to 8619 Hwy 351 Including the Zion Country Store; 2310 to 2148 E. Elm St.; 6124 to 6192 E. Moore St.; and 2435 to 2410 E. Mill St.; 3629 to 3599 E. Marshall St.; 6318 to 4689 Mariah Dr.; 6298 to 6267 Marlyn Dr.; 4697 to 8536 Hwy 1078 N.

As a precaution, customers in this area will be under a boil water advisory when service is restored on Monday until further notice. This is for customers’ protection.

The amount of time that the boil water advisory will be in effect is subject to satisfactory bacteriological testing.
