A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to perform a highway maintenance project at the intersection of U.S. 41, U.S. 41 A, and KY 281 in Madisonville this week.
On Wednesday, December 3rd, crews will mill pavement and apply temporary striping to KY 281 (Island Ford Road) from Chelsea Drive to Main Street, U.S. 41 A from Main Street to Briar Wood Drive and U.S. 41 (North Main Street) from the intersection to Chelsea Drive.
Weather permitting, the roadways will be repaved on Thursday, December 4th.
