Hugh E. Sandefur Training Center Response to COVID-19

Henderson, KY, USA / WSON AM & FM

In response to the potential community spread of COVID-19, the Sandefur Center has adopted the following guidelines in order to remain open for the duration of this event. The health and safety of our participants and staff are our top priority, and we will do everything we can to maintain a clean and safe environment while keeping our program as routine as possible.
• Any participant or staff showing symptoms of COVID-19 (dry persistent cough, fever, shortness of breath) will be required to stay home until a physician allows them to return to work.
• Any participant or staff who shows such symptoms will be isolated and sent home in a timely manner.
• No visitors will be allowed inside the Center. Any provider that requires access may make special arrangements with management and must adhere to the health standards set.
• Participants are to bring only necessary items with them each day.
• Breakfast, lunch and snack will continue to be provided daily. The food program
adheres to CDC standards of cleaning and sanitizing equipment and environment.
• Tables and chairs will be sanitized after each class and or meal.
• All community integration activities will be cancelled.
• Hand sanitizer, tissues and waste receptacles will be available for participants and staff
in each room.
The Center will communicate any changes to providers and the public as this situation evolves.
