Byron Allen Duncan, age 41, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 27, 2025, at his home.
Byron was a HCHS football all-star from 1999-2003. He played at Campbellsville University where he attended with his football scholarship. He loved fishing, hunting, and cheering on the UK Wildcats. Byron worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and worked almost 2 decades at Equipment Depot in Evansville, IN. Byron loved the Lord and was an active member at New Hope Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Raymond Duncan, Mary Alice Payne, Billy and Joyce Pugh, and his brother Matthew Duncan.
Byron is survived by his parents Terry and Sheila Duncan of Spottsville, KY; brother Bradley Duncan (Magan) of Spottsville, KY; and his nieces, Olivia and Sophia Duncan.
Relatives and friends are invited to Byron’s Life Celebration from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home on Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Benton-Glunt and Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY with Brother Ken Lupton officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY.
