The Henderson County Colonels earned a solid 60-37 home victory over Memorial on Tuesday night at Colonel Gym, improving to 13-4 on the season.

Henderson set the tone early, leading 16-7 after the first quarter behind seven points and three rebounds from Zayden Martin and four points and three rebounds from Braden Williams. The Colonels extended the lead to 29-17 at halftime, fueled by nine second-quarter points from Amare Stewart, and carried a 45-29 advantage into the fourth.

Martin finished with a career-high 17 points to go along with six rebounds. Stewart matched him with 17 points and added five boards. Xavion Johnson chipped in nine points and three rebounds, while Travis Little contributed five points and four rebounds. Williams and Brayden Dennis each had four points and three rebounds, Malachi Taylor added two points and four boards, and Alexavier Jones rounded out the scoring with two.

Henderson went 9-of-13 from the free-throw line and hit 3-of-10 shots from beyond the arc. Memorial finished 2-of-4 at the stripe and 5-of-16 from three. The Colonels committed just seven turnovers while forcing 15 and controlled the glass with a 34-24 rebounding advantage.

Henderson County returns home Friday night to host Union County at 7:30 p.m.
