Two people have been arrested following an investigation into drug dealing at Schnute Towers in Evansville.
The Evansville Crime Prevention Unit began an investigation into alleged narcotics dealing at Schnute Towers after receiving multiple complaints.
During the course of the investigation, officers made several arrests for possession of methamphetamine involving individuals leaving the property. With this information a search warrant was granted for an apartment within the complex.
Juan D. Smith, 64, was arrested and charged with dealing methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, possession of a firearm by a domestic batterer and possession of paraphernalia.
Kayla R. Stitt, 38, was also arrested and charged with visiting a common nuisance, as well as an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
