SACRAMENTO, Ky. (February 17, 2026) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Kentucky 81 in Muhlenberg County.
The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office contacted KSP Post 2 at about 7 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 to investigate a fatal collision near the 6500 block of Kentucky 81 in Sacramento.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a minivan, operated by Brandi Eaves, 48, of Powderly, Kentucky, was traveling southbound on Kentucky 81 when it collided with the rear of a dump trailer being hauled by a Chevrolet Silverado.
The Muhlenberg County Coroner pronounced Eaves dead at the scene.
The collision remains under investigation by Detective Brian Graves with Kentucky State Police Post 2.
