Vernon Rondell McCraw, Jr.
Vernon Rondell McCraw, Jr., age 52, of Morganfield, KY, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at his home.
Vernon worked at McDonalds from 1993 until 2015. He enjoyed hunting deer and fishing at Daisy Mae Lake in Morganfield. Vernon loved everyone with all his heart and was super funny. He had a great personality, that his family loved.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents Vernon Sr. and Carolyn Lamb and his brother Donnie Joe McCraw.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Debra Winters-McCraw of Morganfield, KY; daughter Alicia Sargent of Nashville, TN; sons Austin McCraw (Sara) of Princeton, KY and Drew Rigdon of Morganfield, KY; sisters Angela Manley (Eddie) of Clarksville, TN and Melissa Stackhouse (Michael) of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren: Aleyna Sargent, Landon Sargent, and Tucker Sargent; father-in-law Reverend A.G. Winters of Henderson, KY; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Vernon’s Life Celebration from 11:00 a.m. until the service time on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Reverend A.G. Winters officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.

Russell Lee Lemon
Russell Lee Lemon, age 86, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 7:39 pm, Friday, March 20, 2026, at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice surrounded by his loving family.
Russell attended Henderson General Baptist Church and loved the Lord. He was previously employed at Halliburton Services as a field supervisor for over 20 years before establishing his own business, B&L Oil Field Services. Russell was known as the mayor of Sunrise Court and enjoyed filling his role as servant to people in need. He enjoyed vacationing in the Smokey Mountains with his wife Wanda, being active in his church and loved his grandchildren. Russell had great personality and was a stranger to no one.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Lemon, brothers: Raymond, Darrell, and Don, his grandson Matthew Lemon, and his granddaughter Brittney Jewell.
Russell is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Wanda Lemon; sons: Rick Lemon (Tracey) of FL, Bruce Lemon (Debbie) of AL, Alec Hensley (Julie) of Henderson, KY and Chad Hensley (Heather) of Poole, KY; sister Wanda Holland of Henderson, KY; grandchildren: Julie, Rebecca, Phillip, Chelsae, Jessica, Logan, Mitchell, Katelyn, Whitney, Courtney, Bradley, and Grace; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Russell’s Life Celebration from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday and again on Tuesday starting at 9:00 am at Henderson General Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Henderson General Baptist Church in Henderson, KY, with Rev. Alec Hensley, Rev. Chad Hensley, and Rev. Logan Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
