Janet Dianne Peercy, of Henderson, Ky, passed away on Sunday, March, 22, 2026, at Redbanks.
She was born in Slaughters, Ky on January 7, 1948 to the late Rev. James W. Williams and Ruth Helen (Taylor) Williams.
Janet was of the Pentecostal Faith and had been a member of Haven Pentecostal Church for 48 years. She loved the Lord and loved to pray with others. She was employed at Colonial Terrace in Sebree, Ky as the dietary supervisor until an auto accident in 1983.
Janet found joy in cooking, shopping, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love that will live on through her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as “Nana” and “Grand Nini.”
In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her 2 daughters, Cathy Diane Lowrance, and Tara Juanita Taylor; and her sisters, Madelyn Maddox and Carolyn Goldsberry.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Ira Curtis Peercy; her 2 sons, Dewayne Peercy (Ramona) and James Peercy (Sharon); 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. 4 sisters, Betty Graham, Linda Matthews, Patricia Patmore, and GiGi Gentry; 2 brothers, John Williams and Roy Williams.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Janet’s life on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the service time at 3:00 PM at Haven Pentecostal Church in Henderson, Ky, with Rev. Phillip Wagoner, Jason Lawson, and Frank Nalley officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Haven Pentecostal Church Building Fund.
