Kentucky State Police said the body of a missing Christian County woman has been located in Nortonville.
The body of Emerald “Emmy” Raeann Forgette, 39, has been identified. Forgette was reported missing in mid-January.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office contacted KSP at about 2:40 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a 911 call about a deceased woman.
A resident in the 400 block of South Hopkinsville Street in Nortonville called 911 to report the body of a dead woman at the back of their property.
Authorities identified the body as Forgette of Hopkinsville. An autopsy has been completed, and no foul play is suspected.
The investigation is ongoing.
