UPDATE: Evansville Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for murder in connection with a shooting that occurred over the weekend.
Police said an arrest warrant has been issued charging Jacquese D. Crosby, 28, with murder.
The warrant is in reference to a fatal shooting that occurred in the 1200 block of South Lincoln Drive on Sunday morning. Officers were dispatched to that area after a 911 caller reported that a man had been shot.
Officers arrived and located a man dead inside an apartment. Investigators canvassed the area for witnesses and possible video footage.
