What is your age: 68

Spouse: Marlene Williams; two sons, two grandsons.
What is your educational background? (i.e. high school, GED, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, doctoral degree, etc.) BS in Civil Engineering, University of Kentucky; MBA, Murray State University
Have you been elected to a political office previously? If so, what office(s) and when did you hold the office(s)? No
What is your professional background? (Please include career and any boards and volunteer work.) 45 years experience in civil engineering, including working for local governments, large corporations, and small business. Last position was as General Manager for the Henderson Water Utility. Have served on many local boards, youth sports organizations, and church communities.
Why are you running for office? I want to give back to this community, which has been very good to me. Also, want to see us continue to invest in economic development, local workforce, and projects that are within our resources.
If elected to office, what would be your top three goals?
1. Economic Development, both new jobs, and expanding existing businesses. Keep our growing community on a growth path!
2. Sound fiscal policies, including a balanced local budget.
3. Continued investments in streets, sidewalks, and park facilities.
Why should people vote for you? My combination of experience, and being a lifelong resident, make me uniquely qualified for this position.
