OWENSBORO, Ky. (April 14, 2026) – A Daviess County man has been arrested on human trafficking charges following a months-long investigation into allegations involving a juvenile.
Kentucky State Police troopers arrested Juan Louis Mendez Segovia, 50, of Daviess County, on Tuesday night after an investigation revealed he engaged in a sexual relationship with a juvenile.
Mendez Segovia was charged with two counts of human trafficking – sex activity and one count of procuring or promoting use of a minor by electronic means (One count)
Mendez Segovia was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro. The investigation is on-going by Kentucky State Police detectives.
