Betty Jean Turner, age 67, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 3:59 a.m. Saturday May 2, 2026, under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

Betty worked at several factories in Henderson before retiring. She was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kentucky Wildcats. She also enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband, Donnie. Betty loved taking trips to visit Cave City and Mammoth Cave. She owned horses and enjoyed riding them.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents James Williams and Louise Knott, her siblings Margaret Fraaken, James Byford Knott, Wally Knott, Lula Bell Johnson, and her son Daniel Turner.

Betty is survived by her husband Donnie Turner of Hebbardsville, KY; sisters: Dorothy Quinn of Henderson, KY, Linda and Jimmy Blandford of Bluff City, KY, Janna and Ronnie Hancock of Zion, KY, Sheila Lancaster of Zion, KY, Connie and Jim Cannon of Corydon, KY; brothers: Kenny and Michelle Knott of Zion, KY, Larry Knott of Henderson, KY, Jerry and Bonnie Knott of Hebbardsville, KY, and David and Paula Knott of Zion, KY; sister-in-laws: Caroline Knott of Hebbardsville, KY, JoAnn and Roy Brock of Posey County, IN and Tina and Randy Durham of Henderson, KY and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Betty’s Life Celebration from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday May 7 2026, at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Reverend Glenn Morris and Reverend Dan Book officiating. Burial will follow at Cash Creek Cemetery in Henderson County KY.

Pallbearers will be: Dewayne Blandford, Derek Knott, Jamie Knott, Matt Knott, Jamie Phelps, and Christopher Durham. Honorary pallbearers will be: Tim Hancock, Mason Richmond, Jimmy Knott, Kevin Knott, Christian Sutton, and Jordan Morrow.
