The City of Henderson is holding the East End Neighborhood Community Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 18th at the John F. Kennedy Community Center.
This free event is being hosted as part of the City’s Inner City Improvement Plan and is designed to bring together neighbors while helping local families prepare for the upcoming school year.
The day will include free backpacks and school supplies, free food and drinks, free haircuts, basketball games between local police, fire, and sheriff’s department, pickleball, inflatables and bounce houses, water splash activities with the fire department, music from a live DJ, and giveaways including tablets, bikes, scooters, sports equipment, and more.
