HMP&L said that the final phase of its project – the reconductoring phase – will take place this week.
HMP&L is replacing all the old power transmission lines with new higher capacity and performance-rated transmission lines.
Motorists may encounter traveling work zone traffic control measures in place with one lane traffic in the area as this work phase progresses along northbound S. Green St. and Sand Lane on both sides of the road.
The project is expected to take place from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. This last phase of the project is expected to take a few weeks.
