The Kentucky Arts Council is now accepting applications for the Arts Access Assistance grant, a program that supports arts and health programming.
Successful grantees will use arts-based strategies to enhance the health and well-being of individuals and communities, aligning with the goals of Our Healthy Kentucky Home. Grants of $2,500 or $5,000 are available, funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Kentucky General Assembly.
This year’s theme encourages organizations to explore how the arts can support public health, strengthen community connection, and improve quality of life. Projects may also serve healthcare workers, patients, caregivers, and their families, or engage community members in creative activities that promote physical activity, healthy habits, and overall well-being.
Eligible applicants are arts and cultural organizations or any nonprofit partnering with professional artists or arts organizations. Applications are due by Aug. 24, 2026, and proposed activities must occur between Oct. 15, 2026, and Aug. 15, 2027.
