East Heights Principal Erika Odom has resigned from her position.
Henderson County Schools Superintendent Dr. Bob Lawson issued a phone call to East Heights parents on Monday about the leadership update.
“We are grateful for her dedication and service to our students, staff, and families,” Lawson said. “We are working closely with the East Heights SBDM Council on the next steps in the principal hiring process.”
Students return to classes on Thursday, Aug. 13.
Odom had served as East Heights principal since 2017. The school is currently undergoing a major renovation project, with one new wing set to open at the start of the school year.
