CALHOUN – A Morgantown man has been accused of rape.
Kentucky State Police Post 16 Henderson was contacted with an anonymous tip regarding potential criminal activity in a camper trailer at 4164 KY-815 in McLean County. Troopers and detectives located Wesley Wright, 32, of Morgantown at this location.
Wright was taken into custody for multiple outstanding warrants. Wright was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
Following an initial investigation Wright was charged with two counts of first-degree rape 1st victim less than 12 years of age. Wright was charged while in custody at the Daviess County Detention Center on previous charges unrelated to Detective Mason Hendricks’ investigation. Detective Hendricks is continuing his investigation at this time.
