A juvenile has been charged with creating and distributing sexually explicit, AI-generated imagery involving middle school students.
Henderson Police Department said the agency received a report on Thursday about AI-generated nude photographs of juveniles being created and shown to other students.
Following a thorough investigation, officers located and identified AI-generated photographs of two minor victims on a digital device.
A juvenile has been lodged at the Juvenile Detention Center on the following charges:
- Distribution of sexually explicit images without consent.
- Two counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor (O/12 < 18).
- Distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor (O/12 < 18).
