ERNEST EUGENE “GENE” GASS              89       OF HENDERSON

DIED WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25, 2020 AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER.  A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, HE WORKED 33 YEARS FOR HENDERSON MUNICIPAL POWER AND LIGHT UNTIL RETIRING IN 1987.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY 4 BROTHERS, JAMES, FRANKLIN, HERMAN AND SHERMAN GASS; BY A SISTER, GRACIE DAVIS AND A GRANDSON, ROBERT N. JONES.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 

HIS WIFE OF 71 YEARS      JOYCE E. GASS

3 CHILDREN             DAVID E. GASS OF HENDERSON, TOMMY W. GASS OF SMITH MILLS AND

                                      JUDY G. JONES OF ROBARDS

2 SISTERS      PAULINE CHAMPION OF PADUCAH AND SHIRLEY KEGEL OF BENTON, KENTUCKY

5 GRANDCHILDREN, 9 GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

PRIVATE FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD

TOMBLINSON FUNERAL HOME HENDERSON CHAPEL IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS

EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY MAY TAKE THE FORM OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO ST. ANTHONY’S HOSPICE

MARIE KEEN             73       OF HENDERSON

DIED FRIDAY, MARCH 27, 2020 AT HER HOME.  SHE GRADUATED FROM WAGGENER HIGH SCHOOL AND ATTENDED SULLIVAN BUSINESS COLLEGE, BOTH IN LOUISVILLE.  SHE WORKED AS A BOOKKEEPER FOR HER HUSBAND’S DENTAL PRACTICE.  SHE WAS A LONGTIME MEMBER OF HOLY NAME OF JESUS CATHOLIC CHURCH.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HER HUSBAND OF 51 YEARS       DR. THOMAS A. KEEN

3 CHILDREN             MICHAEL KEEN OF DARMSTADT, INDIANA, 

                                      CARYN KEEN MABRY OF HENDERSON AND

                                      TRACEY KEEN KNOWLES OF EVANSVILLE

2 SISTERS      DONNA RHODES AND JANET BOWMAN, BOTH OF LOUISVILLE

1 BROTHER              BILL McCROSKEY OF LOUISVILLE

12 GRANDCHILDREN

FATHER LARRY McBRIDE WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN ST. LOUIS CEMETERY

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD LATER THIS YEAR
