Bridge Rehab Scheduled for I-69/Veterans Memorial Parkway Interchange Ramp near Evansville

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a full closure for a ramp at the I-69 interchange at Veterans Memorial Parkway between Evansville and Henderson.
Beginning on or around Monday, April 13, contractors will close the I-69 ramp coming north from Veterans Memorial Parkway going south to Henderson, Kentucky. This ramp will also be closed to southbound traffic coming in from Kentucky Avenue and going to Henderson. During this operation, workers will replace the bridge approaches, install new guard rail, perform sealing and resurfacing.
Traffic will be detoured around the remaining open ramp loops at the interchange for U.S. 41 and I-69. Signs will be in place directing traffic around the detour.
Closures will be in place around the clock. Work is expected to last until mid-May depending upon weather conditions. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
