DIED WEDNESDAY,APRIL 1, 2020 AT HER HOME.  A MEMBER OF VICTORY CHRISTIAN CENTER, SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A SON, ERIC CECIL COOK.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HER HUSBAND OF 23 YEARS       BILLY BALKE

1 DAUGHTER           JENNIFER LYNN LITTLEPAGE OF VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA

1 SON            EDWARD RAY COOK, II OF CHANDLER, INDIANA

2 SISTERS      RUTH ANDERSON AND SHARON WRIGHT

5 BROTHERS            KEVIN LYNN, GEORGE LYNN, JAMES LYNN, CHARLES LYNN AND

DIED FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 2020 AT GOOD SAMARITAN HOME IN EVANSVILLE.  A MEMBER OF ZION BAPTIST CHURCH, SHE RETIRED FROM HEAD START AFTER 26 YEARS OF SERVICE.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A BROTHER, JOHN A. CARLISLE, JR.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

5 CHILDREN             CHARLES E. “BUTCH” BRANSON, JOHN C. BRANSON, PATRICIA A. DOCKERY,

                                      MARLIN A. BRANSON AND MARK A. BRANSON

COL. RICHARD LEE HOPSON       93       OF HENDERSON

DIED SATURDAY, APRIL 4, 2020 AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER.  RETIRED FROM WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION, HE SERVED 42 YEARS IN THE U.S. NAVY, ARMY AND ARMY RESERVES, HAVING SERVED DURING WORLD WAR II, THE KOREAN WAR AND DURING THE BERLIN CRISIS.  HE ALSO SERVED SEVERAL YEARS ON THE BOARD OF CRIME STOPPERS.  HE WAS A MEMBER OF APOSTOLIC BREAD OF LIFE CHURCH FOR OVER 70 YEARS, WHERE HE HELD SEVERAL POSITIONS, INCLUDING SECRETARY, TREASURER, SUNDAY SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT AND ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR 60 YEARS.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE OF 71 YEARS      IRIS HOPSON

2 SONS          ROGER HOPSON AND RANDY HOPSON

1 DAUGHTER           RENEE MACKEY

2 SISTERS      ANN McFADDEN OF TENNESSEE AND ALMA SIGLER OF INDIANA

8 GRANDCHIDLREN, 13 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS
