HENDERSON, Ky. – As our community navigates through a historic period in time, dispatchers and public safety telecommunicators are on the front lines of a battle to keep everyone safe during the COVID-19 crisis.
Our telecommunicators at the 911 Center that serves Henderson County’s public safety and first responders community are also observing National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week this week, April 12-18.
This week of April is set aside every year to recognize dispatchers and public safety telecommunicators for their service as a vital link between your community and fire, medical and law enforcement agencies.
The local 911 Center is celebrating the week with team spirit and team-building activities, special food days and delivery of treats by their public safety partners and other events.
