POW! Grants over $68,000 to Henderson Non-Profits Impacted by Covid-19

Partnership of Women (POW!) mission is driven by transforming lives in Henderson County and we honored to unveil the recipients on 4.24.20 to celebrate our love for Henderson and our local non-profit organizations in the 42420 community.
The current pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus have created havoc throughout our community and POW! recognized the need to help non-profits who had to cancel or postpone fundraisers. The funds supporting the Covid-19 grant were made possible by a significant endowment by our dear friend, Nyla Tillotson.

The Covid-19 grant will provide funding to sixteen non-profits in Henderson. The recipients of the grant are:

● Brain Injury Adventure Camp
● CASA
● Children’s Advocacy Center
● Downtown Henderson Partnership
● Experiencing Autism Together
● Habitat for Humanity
● Henderson County Diabetes Coalition
● Humane Society of Henderson
● Marsha’s Place
● Matthew 25
● Ohio Valley Art League (OVAL)
● Chloe Randolph Organization
● The Gathering Place – Henderson Senior Center
● Salvation Army
● Volunteer and Information Center

and Father Bradley Shelter for Women and Children

The Partnership of Women will open its annual grant cycle in June 2020 for Henderson area non-profits. The application will be available via their website at powfund.org and Facebook page. For more information about our grant process or membership, please email Susan Sauls at ssauls@twc.com.
