“We are honored to house the Gary F. Grossman Memorial Fund through the
Community Foundation of Henderson,” said Mark B Weaver President of CFH. “It’s one
of the greatest gifts a family can make when they create a legacy fund like Mr.
Grossman’s as his name and support for his passions will live on in our community for
generations.”
Gary F. Grossman was a lifelong farmer in Henderson County who passed away in
2017. The family established the fund to honor him as he was committed throughout his
life to help others in his community when they were in need or struggling. Grossman
was also a huge proponent of youth attending college and furthering their education.
Therefore the focus of scholarship recipients will be in the agriculture field, which was
his primary interest and the arts which is a passion of his wife, Frieda.
