the amount of in-person traffic while also providing convenient service for obtaining replacement/renewal of credentials.
- Beginning June 1st, individuals with a driver’s license, permit or ID card that expired or was lost between March 1-June 30,
2020, who wish to obtain a renewal or reissuance MUST apply through a remote application process. The application is provided
here: https://kycourts.gov/Documents/covid19/TC94191.pdf. Applications will also be available inside the Judicial Center at
the security desk in the judicial center, along with envelopes to include payment to: Henderson Circuit Clerk.
Credentials will be mailed to the individual within 7 days of the application being processed. Individuals may mail the
application and payment to P.O. Box 675, or drop off at the security desk inside the Judicial Center 8:00 - 4:30, or place
in the drop box on the exterior of the building after hours. Payment may be by check or money order payable to
“Henderson Circuit Clerk” or indicate on the form you wish to use a credit card, in which case you’ll need to leave a
daytime telephone number for us to call to complete the transaction. If you’d like to use a credit/debit card, we encourage
you to email your form to the following address with your daytime/ cell phone number: HendersonCountyDL@KyCourts.net.

if your address or name have changed, or any CDL (commercial driver’s license), must obtain new credentials through an
in-person visit to the Circuit Clerk’s Office. To comply with health guidelines, the KY Supreme Court is requiring
in-person renewals to be by appointment. Please call 1(270)826-2405 ext. 2 to set up an appointment. Please remember
social distance guidelines are in place. All persons must remain at least 6 ft apart and wear a mask until it is time
for the their picture to be taken.
