BARBARA JEAN STONE     73       OF HENDERSON

DIED SATURDAY, AUGUST 22, 2020 AT DEACONESS MIDTOWN HOSPITAL IN EVANSVILLE.  SHE WAS A MEMBER OF LIGHTHOUSE OUTREACH CHURCH.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, BILLY GENE STONE AND BY A GRANDSON, JUSTIN JEWELL.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

1 SON            EARL JEWELL OF HENDERSON

5 STEPCHILDREN

1 SISTER        MARY LOU BLAKE OF HENDERSON

2 BROTHERS            IKE DAY AND GEORGE DAY, BOTH OF HENDERSON

1 GRANDSON AND 3 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 1 PM WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2020 AT TOMBLINSON FUNERAL HOME HENDERSON CHAPEL

BROTHER ALBERT WINTERS WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN FAIRMONT CEMETERY

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 10 AM TO SERVICE TIME WEDNESDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME

CHARLES “BUTCH” WILSON        73       OF HENDERSON

DIED THURSDAY, AUGUST 20, 2020 AT HIS HOME.  HE WAS A RETIRED SCALE MASTER FOR THE CITY OF HENDERSON AND VOLUNTEERED AT THE HENDERSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE AS A SPECIAL DEPUTY.  HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE SALVATION ARMY WORSHIP CENTER.   HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY A SISTER, DONNA WILSON. 

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE OF 53 YEARS      PATRICIA WILSON

4 CHILDREN             TONY WILSON, LAQUITA WILKERSON, FRANCES HANCOCK AND

                                      WILLIAM WILSON, ALL OF HENDERSON

1 SISTER        ANITA STEVENS OF EVANSVILLE

1 BROTHER              DORIS WILSON, JR. OF WYOMING

6 GRANDCHILDREN, 4 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 11 AM WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2020 AT TOMBLINSON FUNERAL HOME HENDERSON CHAPEL

MAJOR CHARLES STEWART WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN ROSELAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 4 TO 8 PM TUESDAY AND FROM 9 AM TO SERVICE TIME WEDNESDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME

JOYCE W. HICKS      90       OF HENDERSON

DIED SATURDAY, AUGUST 22, 2020 AT HER HOME.  SHE WAS A LIFETIME MEMBER OF BELLFIELD BAPTIST CHURCH, WHERE SHE TAUGHT SUNDAY SCHOOL AND MISSION FRIENDS AND SERVED AS CHURCH CLERK FOR MANY YEARS.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND OF 54 YEARS, THOMAS T. HICKS, WHO DIED IN 2002; BY A SISTER, NORMA JEAN JACKSON AND A BROTHER, NATHAN WILSON.

3 DAUGHTERS         RUTH H. SCOTT OF HENDERSON,

                                      LYNN PENNINGTON OF PCOAHONTAS, ARKANSAS AND

                                     MELODY HICKS TEW OF JONESBORO, GEORGIA

1 SISTER        JUNE STANLEY OF HENDERSON

8 GRANDCHILDREN, 11 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 10 AM THURSDAY, AUGUST 27, 2020 AT BELLFIELD BAPTIST CHURCH

THE REVEREND DAVID TEW WILL OFFICIATE

BURIAL WILL BE IN FAIRMONT CEMETERY

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 5 TO 7 PM WEDNESDAY AND UNTIL SERVICE TIME THURSDAY AT THE CHURCH WHERE MASKS ARE REQUESTED TO BE WORN

RUDY ROWLAND FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS
