LAVADA ASHLEY BOONE              95       OF HENDERSON

DIED MONDAY, AUGUST 24, 2020 AT REDBANKS NURSING HOME.  SHE ATTENDED CANEYVILLE HIGH SCHOOL AND WAS A LONG-TIME MEMBER OF FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, KENNETH K. BOONE, A GREAT GRANDSON, DAVID LUCKETT; BY A BROTHER, SHELBA ASHLEY AND A SISTER, LUCILLE MUDD.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HER DAUGHTER      PAT LUCKETT OF RUSSELLVILLE, KENTUCKY

3 SONS          TOM BOONE OF HENDERSON, BRUCE BOONE OF HARRISBURG, ILLINOIS AND

                        JEFF BOONE OF SAN ANGELO, TEXAS

6 GRANDCHILDREN, 7 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NIECES AND NEPHEWS

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE 11 AM FRIDAY, AUGUST 28, 2020 AT BENTON GLUNT & TAPP FUNERAL HOME, A LIFE CELEBRATION HOME

BURIAL WILL BE IN LAYMAN CEMETERY IN GRAYSON COUNTY, KENTUCKY

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO LAVADA’S LIFE CELEBRATION FROM 5 TO 7 PM THURSDAY AND FROM 9 AM TO SERVICE TIME FRIDAY AT THE FUNERAL HOME

EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY MAY TAKE THE FORM OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OR TO OWENSBORO YOUNG LIFE

DIED FRIDAY,, AUGUST 21, 2020 AT ST. THOMAS WEST HOSPITAL IN NASHVILLE.  A 1959 GRADUATE OF HENDERSON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL, HE WAS THE OWNER OF COUNTRY BOY MEATS AND LATER STARTED D & G GARAGE AND TOWING SERVICE.  A MEMBER OF HENDERSON CHURCH OF CHRIST,  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY 2 BROTHERS, ELDON STONE AND MELVIN LYNN STONE, SR.

 

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

HIS WIFE OF 60 YEARS      GLORIA D. JENKINS STONE

3 DAUGHTERS       SHERI NUNEZ AND MICHELLE SPRINGER, BOTH OF HENDERSON AND

                                    TERRY FIRMAND OF INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA

BURIAL WILL BE IN ODD FELLOWS CEMETERY IN BOXVILLE

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 10 AM TO SERVICE TIME SATURDAY AT THE CHURCH

RUDY ROWLAND FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS

ALLIE GLEE NANCE             96       OF SLAUGHTERS

DIED WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19, 2020 IN CENTENNIAL, COLORADO.  SHE WAS A GRADUATE OF ONTON HIGH SCHOOL AND LOCKYEAR BUSINESS COLLEGE.  SHE WAS A MEMBER OF SLAUGHTERS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WHERE SHE TAUGHT A PRE-SCHOOL SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS FOR MANY YEARS.  SHE WORKED AS THE SECRETARY AT SLAUGHTERS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOR MANY YEARS AND ALSO SERVED AS A 4-H LEADER.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, HARRY B. NANCE, BY A SON, BOBBY B. NANCE; A BROTHER, BENJAMIN DUNVILLE AND BY A SISTER, RUENELL BROOKS.

A PUBLIC SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT A LATER DATE
