ROBERT GERALD “BOBBY” KAVANAUGH        69       OF HENDERSON

DIED SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2020 AT THE LUCY SMITH KING CARE CENTER.  HE WORKED AT HERCULES MANUFACTURING AS A TRUCK DRIVER.  HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY SEVERAL BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

HIS WIFE OF 36 YEARS      JENNIFER KAVANAUGH

BOBBY GENE CUNNINGHAM      65       OF HENDERSON, FORMERLY OF UNIONTOWN

DIED SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2020 AT HIS HOME.  A 1972 GRADUATE OF UNION COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL, HE EARNED HIS BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF EVANSVILLE AND HIS MASTER’S DEGREE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN.  HE WAS A COAL MINER FOR ISLAND CREEK COAL COMPANY; WORKED AT ACCURIDE AND MOST RECENTLY, WAS VICE PRESIDENT OF AIRGAS.  HE SERVED AS CHAIRMAN OF THE UNION COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR 18 YEARS.

DIED FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2020 AT DEACONESS HENDERSON HOSPITAL.  A MEMBER OF THE CATHOLIC FAITH, SHE HAD WORKED AT BENSON PLASTICS FOR MANY YEARS.

DOROTHY LOUISE SAUNDERS TERRY                92       OF HENDERSON

DIED THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2020 AT REDBANKS NURSING HOME.  SHE WAS A 1946 GRADUATE OF DOUGLASS HIGH SCHOOL AND ATTENDED KENTUCKY STATE UNIVERSITY.  SHE WAS A MEMBER OF GREATER NORRIS CHAPEL MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE SHE SERVED ON THE MOTHER’S BOARD, USHER BOARD, YOUNG MATRONS AUXILLARY, WAS A MEMBER OF THE WOMEN’S ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS AND HELPED WITH VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL.  SHE RETIRED FROM HENDERSON COUNTY SCHOOLS IN 1990 AS A TEACHER’S AID.  SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, GARFIELD TERRY WHO DIED IN 1983 AND BY A BROTHER, HENRY A. SAUNDERS, II IN 1985.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE 11:30 AM WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2020 AT FERNWOOD CEMETERY
