Work expected to last until noon
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 5, 2020) – A contractor in Indiana is making repairs on the Cheatham Slough Bridge north of the Twin Bridges in Henderson. Lane restrictions have been set up for both directions of U.S. 41 between I-69 and Ellis Park.
The work is expected to last until noon.
Traffic is currently backed up to KY 351/Second Street. Motorists are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes.
Editor’s note: It appears the contractor did not notify either the Kentucky or Indiana Transportation Departments before putting this work zone in place early this morning at the start of the morning commute. Henderson 9-1-1 was also not given advance notification of the road work.
