Westbound lane closure to be in place for a week

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 6, 2020) – A contractor plans to install a permanent lane closure on U.S. 60 beginning Tuesday, November 10. The lane closure will be for the westbound lane across the bridge and will require the the closure of KY 1078 and KY 2243.

The lane restriction is needed for the contractor to install shoring and barrier wall in preparation for the construction of the bridge substructure on the west side of the Green River.

Motorists will need to use alternate routes during this time.
