HENDERSON, KY, October 16, 2019– The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the City of Henderson are still planning to close the 6900 block of Wathen Lane in the near future to allow for the replacement of the existing bridge, but the closure has been put on hold due to a delay in the delivery of culvert sections and headwalls needed for the project.
Construction work had been tentatively scheduled to begin on Oct. 14 and end on approximately Nov. 14, weather permitting. The schedule for completion will now be pushed by.
Once the construction materials are delivered, a new schedule for closure and completion will be announced.
